Welcome to the 2025/2026 School Year! 

DHS staff have compiled a list of tasks that require your attention to be prepared for the start of the 2025-26 school year. Some of the items may have already been completed or may not apply to you. Please find more information related to these tasks below the checklist:

Complete the “25-26 School Year Paperwork” in Skyward Family Access. Your student will not be able to access their schedule until the ‘25-26 School Year Paperwork’ is complete and submitted. To complete the form, parents/guardians can log on to Skyward Family Access and click on the "25-26 School Year Paperwork" tab on the left side of the screen. 

Review your Schedule (released Aug. 11 at 4 p.m.)
Students and families are encouraged to look over the schedule to look for any errors (i.e. open periods)**. Please note that it is likely students may not be placed in all of the courses or alternate courses of their choice. We will not make schedule changes based on a desired teacher change. 

The counselors will hold walk-in schedule changes in the high school cafeteria for students in grades 9-12 on Aug. 12, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Aug. 14, 8 to 11 a.m., and Aug. 18, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. If these times don’t work for you, please schedule an appointment with the appropriate counselor.  Please note the counselors return to school on Monday, Aug. 11.

Buy Your Parking Permit, if applicable - Affinety (Available for seniors starting July 16; available for remaining 16 year old students August 11) 

Purchase Chromebook Insurance for $25 per student - Affinety -if you are checking out a school device.  

Add Money to your family Lunch Account in Skyward Family Access - or drop off a check in the office!
