Back to School 2024
The 24-25 School Year is right around the corner! Starting today, all returning families may log in to Skyward Family Access and complete the “24-25 School Year Paperwork”. This paperwork is necessary so that we have updated transportation, health, and emergency contact information. It is extremely beneficial to gather this information as early as possible so we appreciate your timely attention. Further, you will indicate your intentions to check out a school issued Chromebook. In addition to completing the online “paperwork,” please review the following items in preparation for the upcoming school year!
Student Schedules will be released at 3 pm on August 12 IF your 24-25 School Year Paperwork is complete. Newly registered students do not have to complete the “paperwork”. We ask that students review their schedules and look for errors. Any student/family who wishes to pursue a schedule change must schedule an appointment with their counselor.
Parking passes and Fall Activities can be registered and paid for using Affinety Solutions. You can also add to your family lunch account. Look for Chromebook Insurance to be added soon!

It is recommended that 9-12 students gather the common supplies necessary for their courses (i.e. notebook and folder). Please know that some classes may have specific supplies or lab fees which will be discussed with your student when the class begins. and wait to learn of more specific needs when the class starts.
ATTENDANCE CHANGES - Please make note of changes to attendance procedures at DHS for the coming school year. Information about these changes can be found here. Also, we are piloting a new attendance reporting system in which parents can report student absences using Skyward Family Access! We hope this addition to our use of Skyward will expedite attendance procedures in a family friendly manner. Please make sure to change your password so your student does not have access to this feature. Additionally, please refer to the attendance information from Wright County Attorney Brian Lutes attached to this email.
While we don’t want to wish the summer away, we do look forward to seeing you all again! Best wishes to all of you as you close out the summer. Have a safe and fun last month!
Sincerely,
