Delano High School
Delano High School serves students in grades 7–12 with an enrollment of approximately 1,200. The Class of 2025 achieved a 100% graduation rate, with all 185 seniors earning their diplomas. Among the school’s 75 faculty members, 73% hold advanced degrees.

Curriculum
A comprehensive curriculum of over 250 courses places emphasis on preparation for post-secondary opportunities. College in the Schools (CIS) courses offered to grades 11 and 12 include Calculus I and II, Chemistry I and II, Sociology, Introduction to Statistics, Literature and Composition, Psychology, Spanish I and II, Writing Studio, and Mobile Computer Applications. Partner universities include Southwest State University and the University of Minnesota. Advanced Placement (AP) courses offered to grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 include Arts, Biology, Human Geography, US Government and Politics, and US History. Advanced courses are available in language arts and mathematics beginning in grade 7 and advanced science is available in grade 9.
Grading System
Delano High School calculates grades on a 4.0 scale. Advanced Placement (AP) and College in the Schools (CIS) courses are weighted with an additional 0.66 grade points. The school does not rank students. The grading system is defined as follows: A = Excellent, B = Good, C = Satisfactory, D = Poor, F = Unsatisfactory; S = Satisfactory/Passing, U = Unsatisfactory, P = Passing, and I = Incomplete.
